S1 Computing and Information Science

S1 REPORTING:

At present, we issue an annual report in line with school policy. Due to the limited time we see pupils in S1, as well as the fact that all pupils in S1 are seen by the same teacher, this report is generic to the course and explains what the pupil has been doing and highlights future progressions within the subject. We also add individual comments covering areas such as behaviour and homework at the top of the report as well as a checklist of units participated in and completed.

Personal comments are only added where there has been a clear issue relating to the pupils participation in the class or where a pupil has excelled beyond expectations. If no written comment is present, you can be assured that the pupil is has coped well within the course and that there are no concerns relating to their progress.
